A 39 year-old B.C. woman is facing charges for fraudulently posing as a Fort McMurray evacuees to gain community assistance.
Last week Claresholm RCMP charged Darryl Rondeau with fraud under $5,000.
Rondeau and the woman, from Victoria, were investigated after complaints were made to police.
Rondeau plead guilty to his charge Wednesday in Fort McLeod Provincial Court.
Jaimie Lynn Cox was charged with five counts of fraud under $5,000 and has been released from police custody on conditions.
She is scheduled to appear in Fort McLeod Provincial Court on June 1.
