If you notice some slightly discoloured water in Abasand and Grayling Terrace next week, the municipality says it’s nothing to worry about.
The RMWB will begin their flushing of fire hydrants in the neighbourhood, a practice part of their yearly maintenance program. Underground Crews will take care of the work, which is meant to ensure efficiency and quality in the region’s water distribution system.
Residents could see some discolouration and brief pressure drops in their tap water. The RMWB is recommending running the tap for 10-15 minutes to get rid of any discolouration.
After Abasand and Grayling Terrace crews will begin work on other neighbourhoods in a process that’s expected to be complete by September.
