A big name in curling is set to speak at this year’s Wood Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame induction dinner.
Winning silver and gold at two Olympic games and numerous national and international titles, Canadian curling ambassador Kevin Martin is the guest speaker for this year’s event.
Martin has enjoyed a lengthy career in the sport beginning with a silver medal at the 1986 World Junior Curling Championships.
Sports advocate Curtis Phillips, Special Olympics advocate Ernie Kimball, and Keyano Huskies men’s volleyball athlete Alwyn Piche will be inducted into the Hall of Fame’s Class of 2016 at the dinner at Shell Place June 16th.
