One driver was transported to hospital this morning after a collision at the junction of Highway 63 and 69.
Staff Sgt. Gordon Patey says a tanker truck travelling north on 63 collided with a passenger van turning left from 69 onto Highway 63 southbound.
The driver of the van suffered non-life-threatening injuries, while the driver of the truck was unharmed.
Traffic was re-routed for nearly two hours through Mackenzie Boulevard while investigators examined the scene and crews cleared the debris. Traffic is now flowing normally.
Patey couldn’t comment on whether charges were pending for either driver, and says the investigation is continuing.
