One McMurrayite’s vehicle almost became just another brick in the wall Monday.
Just before 7:30 p.m., a black sedan crashed into the side of the Shell gas station at Franklin and Hardin after driving over a parking barrier. The collision caused damage to the front-left side of the vehicle, and created a hole in the first layer of bricks on the building.
Fire crews and police responded to the incident, and had to work with a tow truck to dislodge the sedan.
Gas supply wasn’t affected by the crash, and the in-station store stayed open.
Police have yet to comment on whether the driver will be facing charges related to the incident.
