Bylaw Services is reminding residents to license their pets.
The RMWB legally requires all pet owners to obtain licences for their animals in accordance with the official Animal Control Bylaw.
April is licence renewal month and the municipality is taking the opportunity to promote the importance of registering dogs and cats.
The cost of licensing your pet depends on whether or not they’ve been spayed or neutered. If the animal is fixed the cost is $15 and if they’re not it’s $50.
New licences can be obtained, and current ones renewed, either at Jubilee Centre at 9909 Franklin Avenue or at the Timberlea Landing municipal building at 306 Powder Drive.
