Housing starts in Wood Buffalo continue to decline.
According to the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, only four dwellings were started last month compared to 21 in February 2015.
Only two single family units were started last month compared to 16 at this time in 2015.
Fort McMurray Realtors says active listings are down in every category except for duplexes, which are more than double what they were last year with 19 new listings last month over eight last February.
New listings for single family homes are down by 20 per cent, from 102 last February to 81 last month.
The real estate board says the average value of a single family unit sold is down 9.5 per cent to approximately $675,000 compared to a year ago when the average was approximately $746,00.
